I currently work at Hallmark Cards, Inc. as one of the youngest Master Writers in the history of the company. I usually tell people that I write for just about anything you’d find in a Hallmark store, but my real job goes beyond that—I do write cards, books, songs (original and parody), jokes, social media posts, articles, scripts, and more. But I also develop creative strategy, plan internal communication, research trends, edit books, lead projects, facilitate brainstorms, build bridges between teams, provide leadership within our writing studio, and work on a wide variety of innovation projects. I do a little bit of everything in my job, and I absolutely love it.

When I'm not writing, I like to spend time with my wife and our two incredibly energetic boys. (Seriously—the things I could do if I had just 25% of their energy.) I love games of literally every variety, singing and playing the piano, running, and seeking the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. (The search is ongoing. And delicious.)
